My mature gap year has opened many doors and as many windows.
In north western NSW north of Broken Hill and west of Bourke
Sitting on a sand hill after beneficial rains with two doggies on a bike.
A vista opened up before my very eyes, all I had to do was stop and look.
The description title came to me as clear as the vision.
My goal is to attempt to share my privilege in words.
Hopefully potential readers can feel what I can see.
Vision Splendid
Tis the vision splendid o’er sand hills and the plains.
Of the Gidgee and Mulga stands after the gift of rain.
Noisy chatting of little birds to hear but not be found.
Adding to the scene of living songs of nature’s sounds.
As dusty summer heat transforms to pastoral vista live.
Fauna and flora have waited long for their turn to thrive.
After sitting dull, deep rooted while in the ground so bare.
To the untrained eye a wonder how could they still be there.
The vision splendid before our eyes tis surely a sight to please.
As the magic work of nature’s endurance flutters in the breeze.
And all people have to do is to give our earth a fighting chance.
By acting out this life like play to observe a win to win romance.
