People talk about it, you can read about the place but until you see it eye to eye you can't fully appreciate the awesome beauty of this part of the Australian Northern Territory.
I wrote two poems in 2015, that were inspired by the photo's that I have captured on my multiple visits to this region, west of Katherine Northern Territory Australia.

The vibes of Silence sitting on a Rock 30-7-15
Can you feel the vibes of silence entering your soul.
Not something you can see, tis something you can feel.
The vibes they are quite tangable, they are absolutely real.
Cause once you have them,you somehow feel quite whole.
Vic River Escarpments a Memory til 12-7-16
I’ve been to Victoria River Escarpments a time or two.
Been down in the gorges, seen the peaks , what a view.
That sit right up high with their colour reddish pink hue.
They are quite magnificent , one must give them their due.
No single aspect makes the experience mystique.
Tis the package complete, that makes Vic River unique.
Some parts are the river, some parts are but a creek.
The tips they are like diamonds far harder than of teak.
Once seen your compelled to return.
Each time you go the more you yearn.
To learn something new at every turn.
Into the memory the pleasure will burn.
