We chose to become its servant and lose control.

God gave it free on earth 24 hours a day.
To those he chose to have an earthly stay.
We choose to program from very early age.
That wealth comes top of any success page.
Becomes a vehicle, the currency of our love.
Far removed from love’s design from above.
For the young.
Many young are gifted, far more than they need.
Giver, quietly adding to their self satisfaction feed.
The young receiver looks, takes and heads off to play.
Pushing aside multiple unplayed toys lying in the way.
Silently thinking “What I want most is part of your time”
For the old:
Family, your greatest joy turn up for the briefest stay.
Life is far too busy for a visit as they mostly keep away.
Oft time you are alone and living in your worn out shell.
You may consider the thought, that you taught them well.
