Don't say much about what they do.
They are paid a bloody 'Brass Razoo'
For the hours and service that they do.
As some doctors swagger in and out.
Teams of nurses follow them about.
Filling in the details when in doubt.
So this package arrives in the mail.
I am sposin it is a catalog for sale.
What is it, oh just hospital, no detail.
Must have forgotten the trials to retrain.
Caring, helping those sick and in pain.
Nurturing families who suffered big loss.
Regardless of her personal time and cost.
Much better support would be hard to find.
Appreciative letters by loved ones left behind.
So just sayin and I will be in trouble......
"25 years is not something to be trifled with"
Now with Covid time and the stakes are raised.
There is extra reason for all nurses to be praised.
Not too hard to see these people everywhere.
In full PPE the scurry here and scurry there.
