Walking with the doggies, me sipping hot black tea.
Sucking in the morning fresh to embrace the day anew.
While Penny clings to life unable to share what I can see.
We whinge and squabble about material goals so grandiose.
Forgetting the miracle of health, the gift to life and breath.
Priorities of power and property, they come not even close.
When you have to face stark options of matters life and death.
