Floodplain part of the river

Updated: Nov 12, 2018

Between the rivers lie the floodplains that connect the defined streams.

The water flow either goes underground through the soil or above in a spread-out motion giving and maintaining life forms, so prolific we only know a fraction.

Long before man made structures made their appearance this is where the water flowed.

To mankind this is a road and the flood waters have crossed and submerged the road.

To nature, this is where a road has crossed the floodplain.

The photo shows some of the first inhabitants playing as a family.
