As one grows old, they are but young.
When you’re looking at the body frail.
Knowledge inside is like a holy grail.
Take your time If you choose to avail.
Tis in your face, so engage and learn.
Give respect that you too will yearn.
When father time says ‘it is your turn’
Engage the spirit still fierce and bold.
Reap the rewards of stories untold.
Their life experience for you unfold.
You’ll be the winner, you will find.
And all you had to do, was be kind.
Create connection, mind to mind.
They are in your care, a noble task.
Reversed rolls and needs is the ask.
