FOR THE COMBINED BENEFITS OF MAN, ANIMAL AND PLANTS.
They lived this patch of land before any tree was fell.
Sitting slently watching, unable to speak, unable to tell.
The risk of full deforestation would not turn out well .
While their comrades all around dropped into the earth.
They clung to life, surviving, thriving expanding their girth.
Just biding their time before waiting for the new to give birth.
New life arrived and this small ecosystem have made plans to survive.
Amongst acres and acres of ground, bare to the ravages of nature.
Place for the birds to sing and to dance, wildlife to nest at natures rest.
