A Murray Darling Basin Analogy of a Fridge, Beer and Dead Fish.
God made the water/beer plenty for us all, 10 cans a day.
Government built a dam/river/fridge and sold 12 cans a day.
God also put enough fish for us all in the bottom of the fridge.
Buyers liked the beer so much, some stole some cans unpaid
The Fridge was getting really empty with 14 cans a day leaving.
Government was warned all hell would result if the beer ran out.
They said they would look inside, which they did and said all was ok.
Disaster, the beer ran out, fridge door was left open while looking .
The fish started to smell really badly, a stench no one could ignore.
Government was asked to investigate what the hell went wrong.
Problem solved, not the buyers nor the Government were at fault.
Twas in fact , Gods fault, he did not make enough beer to fill the greed
