Places where memories born, were made to last.
What Started small and maybe not funny at the time.
Becomes the base of mirth, described in this rhyme.
A reality sitcom developed from a very small start.
Gets totally reborn with a chuckle from the heart.
Maybe a name, signpost, a pub, patch of grass or a tree.
That triggers the memory Letting the inner smile go free.
Our life’s journey, without a thought, it is what we did.
Choices we had, removing and throwing the ‘Sensible lid’.
Growing up fun, when sprung, we were kicked up the arse.
Add some years the deeds transform to the humorous class.
Testing all the boundaries, with the heart, as we are bound to do
Add Spewy cars, Baxter boots, bogged in suits, skinny dipping too.
Some memories are for just two and some for many more.
For those in the know, we grin as memories find the door.
The tapestry of my living space something that I treasure.
Good clean fun, had to be done, hurt no one, life measure.
People young to old each generation the same way be done.
