Distance not a problem, remote residents see him face to face.
When ‘Macca’ ‘Kell’ and his travelling team lob into their place.
There are no airs and graces with mike in hand, now it is your turn.
Asked about your views aired all over Aus, Macca just loves to learn.
Puts one at ease in a manner of a yarn, keeping what you said in store.
Has a memory like an elephant remembering if you have met before.
Just local bloke with style, boardroom or the bush, to take you as you are.
Has no sign of self-importance even with his following, denies he is a star.
For someone I have never met I feel I know him well but really not at all.
Until maybe one day our paths will cross in a local far flung country hall.
