For the Love of Earth, For the Love of our land.

We should support our youth not condemn.

For when we get old we will depend on them.

Trust is the Key 7-2-2021

Telling them to go to school to learn the way we think.

Tis not their role to suggest climate change does stink.

Not for them to question why our icecaps melt and sink.

Not for them to suggest that from our gen, there is a link.

May seeds so small never be washed away.

May seeds of life, grow in a positive way.

May some fun and joy be part of the way.

That us earthlings experience in our short stay.

Great things start from something small.

The single brick starts the thick wide wall.

Growing, ever growing, to over ten foot tall.

If not for a simple seed, it wouldn’t be at all.

The seed of past youth of one once young.

A place where mature greats have begun.

Time of growth, sweat, long days are done.

To the time when obituary deeds are sung.

We must embrace the wisdom of our youth.

Even though at times we look with a “Struth”

Cause we bred them like that, it is the truth.

Where else would they learnt to be uncouth.

For they are the products of our own lust.

Recognise that they are ours, that is a must.

It is in our range of options trust or bust.

For time will ensure we will soon be dust.

Common knowledge, round earth is fact.

Except for some who know is actually flat.

They will be left behind, is as simple as that.

We run the risk that we like them, fall splat.

So as this world thrives on love and lust.

In our best interests, only option is to trust.

Young people who care for us, as we rust.

So take this time to engage as discussed.
