Despite our continued denials of degradation.
We are doing more of the same and expecting a different outcome.
We as a whole are quite delusional.
We keep shitting in our own nest, while outwardly proclaiming what good land managers we are.
As we knee jerk response to our declining profitability by doing 'Same old same old'
Our soil gets hotter with each ground cover reduction.
Rainfall reliability reduces yearly and it just gets tougher to make a quid.
So the perceived "Panacea" is to make it hotter ? ? ?
An old early Australian tale:
An old pantry contained cyanide bag on the top shelf to keep safe.
Below in easy access they kept the flour, a basic ingredient of common use.
One day the family started to feel unwell so the cook sustained them with bread.
Little did they know the cyanide bag had frayed and was dripping little bits into the flour.
Silently worsening the health of the family until it was too late for some.
We ARE mirroring this tale to our ultimate worsening earthly existence.
The symbolic remainder will not survive on its own.
The erosion exposure is quite obvious.
