The Declutter Fallacy 30-3-19
You decide a declutter is for you.
It is what all the smart people do.
Sort ‘keep or go’ into piles of two.
Until the space, is all neat and new.
Did you care, the stuff you throw.
Do you wonder, where does it go ?
Or a case of ‘just don’t want to know’
Not your problem, someone else’s show.
As you drive you pass a sign of ‘Tidy Town’
Of glory past, some distant year of renown.
A turn, past the dump may make you frown.
You see the pile that simply won’t go down.
The truth it is a major problem of our earth.
No respect, we ‘willy nilly’ denigrate its worth.
Waterways full of plastic in ever expanding girth.
Tis sad to see the growing cult devoid of any mirth.
To new horizons, not content with earthly kill.
We have already started on outer space, to fill.
To get a rocket from earth is such a mighty thrill.
What happens from there the care factor is nil.
Job too big, Immensity of task, just what to do ?
We need to make a start at level, me and you.
Be brave to start a trend with basic habits new.
Be amazed how a simple start grew and grew.
