Enjoyed a frantic fortnight in April/May with a bucket load of positive people power.
Including my Favourite Fellow "Mature gap year" enthusiast.
As her party crowd dispersed from multiples to just one, I texted"
"Trust you are ok and not too much down with the let-down of such a huge success of all levels"
A reply , as succinct as ever:
"Truly, it would be most shameful if I felt down
I am so blessed and have been shown so much love ...
Down is not going to be in the equation"
For myself a text I received from another:
" Hope you are not too lonely out there
I know the feeling when you have had a wonderful social event
Then back to an empty house"
My transition from people to just myself.
" As rain threatened, two family as well as an entire camp of a mustering team
Disappeared in a cloud of dust in a matter of hours"
Recovery Stages of
'Where is everybody' to brief being alone, to Ahh 'The quiet and peace'
Each transcript time was taken to inquire, & both replies in the positive vein
'All is Good'
Spare a thought for the many who are not so lucky and are feeling lonely.
Never dismiss the power of asking and supreme benefit of just being there.
The Darker Side of Acting
Think of acting, you think film or play.
You think of fame with big wads of pay.
You may dare to aspire to be that way
I know others better in that field.
Have no peace, no dollar yield
Have perfected the ultimate shield.
They are in darkness as they pray.
Choose different face for every day.
Then fool the world they are quite ok.
Should perchance you spy a little Crack.
Let them know that you have their back.
Give them support to get back on track.
Give them space and do not crowd.
Support them quietly, don’t be loud.
Respect their right to remain proud.
So keep an eye on your fellow man.
Take the time to friend, if you can.
Cause we all only have, one life span.
