The method and standard operation of the working dogs by Edward included:
Watering the dogs and drop-kicking rugby football style, the feed tin from kennel to kennel.
Not certain about their safety, they soon realised it was foreplay to the much awaited daily feed.
They never got hit and were never disappointed.
